Design rules for heavy duty warehouse racks

The weight of the goods is very heavy, so we need to use heavy-duty warehouse racks to store them. But we are worried that there will be problems in the use process. How to design to meet the heavy demand for the goods? In fact, heavy duty warehouse rack design is a lot of attention. The reason why it can bear more weight than the light duty warehouse rack is that it should be well controlled in the design of the scheme.

1. The span of heavy duty pallet rack should be small

Normally, the smaller the span, the greater the load. If the load-bearing needs to be large, it is suggested that the span design be smaller and the stress will be greater. Large span the middle of the heavy duty load may be bent down, so in the design scheme, the span should be designed more reasonably and stably according to the specifications and weight of the goods.

2. High storage rack needs to design the connection between each row

High storage rack refers to the height of the warehouse rack, such as the height of more than 8 meters is very high. The high rack needs a large load-bearing, in the design of the best in the design of each row of racks between the design of connecting rods, connecting each row, the structure will be more stable. Such as pallet rack and coil discharging rack are often used in this design.

High heavy duty pallet racks, will also design a bridge channel to improve the space utilization of the warehouse, the bridge channel not only makes the storage rack structure more stable but also greatly improves the storage capacity of goods.

3. The bearing capacity should be designed to be larger than the required load

When customizing heavy duty warehouse racks, the best load-bearing design is larger than needed. For example, the bearing capacity needs 3 tons, and 3.5 tons of materials can be designed, so that the stored goods will not be overweight and there are potential safety hazards, so the storage can be assured.

The design requirements of heavy duty warehouse racks are higher than those of light duty warehouse racks. It is suggested that the design of the scheme should be well controlled during customization, so as to make full preparation for later safe and long-term use.
