After using storage shelves in many warehouses, it is still not convenient to count goods. In fact, there are many effective methods to make inventory easier.

1、 Establish inventory configuration chart

Before the inventory, make a plan and establish the inventory allocation chart according to the location of the goods shelf. The storage area of all goods shall be numbered in the inventory configuration diagram, and the positions in the warehouse shall also be numbered as a shelf.

2、 Establish inventory of goods on storage shelves

List the goods information and placing an order on each shelf in the list of goods on the shelf. As the storage goods are generally stable, in addition to the heavy workload when the inventory list is entered into the system for the first time, only a small amount of modification can be made according to the actual storage when the function is used again later. Establish the goods list on the shelf, which can be carried out by more than one person at any non-counting time, and establish an independent inventory list for each shelf.

The list can be established in the following ways: first, manually copying the goods information on the shelf. Use the counting machine. Scan all goods one by one according to the shelf number, and import the documents of the counting machine into the business system to form the list of goods on the shelf. Third, use the Wireless Barcode gun or use the laptop to connect the barcode gun to simulate the Wireless Barcode gun. Record the scanned barcode in the new text file, and save each shelf as a file. Then through the function of importing text files into the business system, the list of goods on the shelf is established.

3、 Generate count task

Before each counting, the counting task needs to be generated in the business system. The inventory generation task is to determine the scope of the goods to be counted and save a backup of the book inventory in the business system so that the normal operation of the next day will not be affected even if the inventory data is not entered in time.

When generating a counting task, you need to select the counting type, which is divided into full-field counting and group counting. Group counting can determine the counting range by department, category, supplier, location, brand or single product. Before generating the counting task, all business documents must be approved and recorded, and the sales data of the day must be summarized. Otherwise, the book inventory data of goods before counting will be inaccurate.
