For more than 20 years, most of the storage rackings are all kinds of parts which are not installed separately before shipment. But some foreign customers are worried about how to install the racking after arrival, especially the installation of the frame, they will ask the warehouse racking factory to assemble the frame of the warehouse shelf before shipment so that when the goods arrive, they will directly install the assembled frame and crossbeam.
According to our experience for many years, it’s not good to assemble before delivery. One is that after assembly, the floor area will be much larger and the transportation cost will be increased.
The second is that there is a package after the shelf is produced. If it needs to be assembled, the original package must be removed and then taken out for assembly. After the assembly, the package suitable for this specification must be printed, which increases the cost invisibly.
The third is that the warehouse racking sway in the car or on the ship, especially at the export. It will take a long time on the ship, which may crush the goods or loosen the bolts due to the shaking of the car or the ship. If there is such a problem, then I’m not in a good mood. I may also go to the warehouse racking factory to discuss it, causing losses to both sides.
Based on the above reasons, we suggest that we try not to let the warehouse racking factory assemble and then ship. As for the problem that the customer will not install the shelf at the outlet of the warehouse racking, we can provide the installation video for reference; or they can ask the local professional racking installation personnel for installation.
