Is the mezzanine floor highly utilized?

The mezzanine floor is a kind of high utilization rate of goods space. It is a kind of storage racking which is mainly considered in the warehouse planning of light and small articles. A mezzanine floor can be designed and adjusted according to the user’s site conditions to make a 2-3-story attic, which is widely used in factories, e-commerce warehouses, logistics centers, and other fields. Usually, because the adult height is more than 1.5m, and the floor generally has a height of 10cm (i.e. thickness), the space between the mezzanine floor is 2.2-2.7m, and the height of the top shelf is generally about 2m. Therefore, the height of the two-layer mezzanine floor can be 4.2m, while the three-layer mezzanine floor can be made into 7.5m, which requires the warehouse height to be more than 4m and less than 8m.

At the same time, considering the convenience of employees’ work, the net height of the first floor of the mezzanine floor should not be lower than 1.9 meters. If the mezzanine floor is too low, the warehouse staff will work in such a storage environment for a long time, which will inevitably lead to work depression. If the net height is 1.7 meters, then the staff working on the mezzanine floor have to bend down or head down, which is easy to cause physical strain. This completely violates the principle of the rationality of storage rack design.

The mezzanine floor adopts a cold-rolled steel floor, which has the advantages of strong bearing capacity, good integrity, good bearing uniformity, high precision, smooth surface, and easy locking. It mainly stores goods manually. The goods on the second and third floors are usually transported to the proper height by forklift, hydraulic lifting platform or cargo elevator, and then transported to a certain position by light car or hydraulic pallet truck, so as to achieve the storage and storage and management It is more convenient.
