The significance of aseismic design to automatic storage retrieval system(ASRS)

In recent years, with the rapid development of China’s logistics industry, many advanced three-dimensional warehouses have been built all over the country. Different from the traditional warehouse, the three-dimensional warehouse is not only high in number but also more sophisticated in logistics equipment and more serious in secondary disasters.

As the collection of seismic data and the determination of parameters are far more complex than civil buildings, the research on seismic performance of equipment is limited to nuclear equipment, power equipment, and other important equipment, and the seismic performance of logistics equipment is not touched.

At present, there is no anti-seismic standard or industry standard for the logistics equipment in the three-dimensional warehouse, which mainly depends on the system integrator to make more considerations in the design planning, and the main consideration is how to design the part connecting the logistics equipment and the warehouse, that is, the foundation design.

Generally, the embedded channel steel can be used for the ground embedment of the three-dimensional warehouse, that is, during the embedment, each row of embedded bolts connected with the rack column is connected with the whole channel steel, and then the channel steel is connected with angle steel, so that the whole ground, the housing structure and color steel plate of the rack and the building steel structure form a whole, and its seismic resistance is greatly enhanced.

Another way to reduce the difficulty of construction is to bury the main reinforcement of the foundation in the lower layer, and the upper layer can be paved with some fine reinforcement, which can be cut and subdivided into several pieces after being on the ground so that the foundation is still a whole after construction.

In addition to the foundation pressure under the static load of the stacker and the pallet racking, the increase of other loads under the earthquake condition, the pressure in the horizontal direction during the earthquake and the upward tension of the stacker should be considered. These values will be multiplied compared with static pressure.

In addition, we need to consider the damage of the earthquake to the three-dimensional warehouse software. During the earthquake, because some equipment in the three-dimensional warehouse is damaged, the communication network of the information system will be interrupted, the information of goods and equipment in the damaged part will be lost, what’s more, the command ability of the whole system will be further affected, and all equipment in the warehouse will be on strike.

Therefore, when designing an information system, it is best to consider that when encountering earthquakes or other accidents, one or several pieces of equipment will be shut down due to failure, but the normal operation of other equipment will not be affected.
