Aceally recommends the following maintenance methods.
Pay attention to moisture and rust and clean regularly
The racks are made of steel, so they may rust over time. Especially in the rainy season, when the air becomes humid, it is more important to see if the racks are rusted. That’s why we need to ventilate the warehouse in time to prevent it from getting too humid.
Also, clean the racks regularly. Too much dust can contaminate the racks and cause quality problems, or make the signs on the racks unclear, leading to wrong operation by operators.
Awareness of collision
The installation of protective devices plays a very important role in protecting the columns. The most easily damaged parts are the columns beside the aisles and at the corners, which are usually deformed due to the collision of forklifts. Therefore, it is necessary to equip a set of anti-collision facilities according to different shelves, aisle widths and means of transportation. In addition, daily inspection should be carried out, and if the screws are loose, they should be fixed in time.
Prevent overload
Each shelf has its own standard in terms of the loading capacity of the shelf. It must be loaded strictly according to the regulations to eliminate overloading, which is easy to cause deformation of the shelves and has more hidden dangers. At the same time, the placement of goods should follow the principle of “heavy goods down, light goods up”.
Stacking equipment must be operated by experts
Heavy and high level shelves must be equipped with electric stacking trucks. Column collisions and deformations are mostly caused by non-professionals operating stacker cranes. Therefore, only certified personnel can use and operate stacker cranes.
