3 points for attention when using heavy duty racking to store goods

In the use of heavy duty racking to store goods, many hydraulic forklifts and forward-moving forklifts will be used. During the use of forklift, if there is improper operation, it will touch the racking surface, damage the rack surface or cause its deformation.

Therefore, in the process of using storage racks to store goods, the following three points should be paid attention to:

(1) Do not overload. Steel storage rack shall not exceed the approved load. Overloading will make the stackable racks bend and deform, shorten the service life, and threaten the safety of goods and warehouse workers

(2) Don’t hit. When loading and unloading goods, forklift and other stainless steel rack equipment shall be operated correctly and strictly to prevent the storage rack from being overturned or the surface of the steel rack shall be knocked off the paint, so that the surface of the storage rack is easy to be corroded.

(3) Do not change the storage rack structure. Do not change the storage rack structure at will. The structure of commercial storage racks is designed and planned during customization. If it is changed, it will affect the use safety and bring inconvenience to storage rack. In order to minimize the failure and reduce the probability of affecting the use of the storage rack, it is necessary not to change the structure at will.

In addition to the above points, the warehouse operators also need to be clear about the composition of heavy duty racking, such as mazzanine floor, steel platform. Maybe the stress level of the steel storage rack channel and the storage rack is different, so they need to be clear before use.

It is suggested that when the enterprise purchases the storage racking for garage, the warehouse supervisor should participate in it together. No matter how to use it, or the quantity and placement of the goods to be purchased, comprehensive follow-up and analysis should be made, and the later racking system installation and use will be more safe and smooth.
